Audio Group Analog References Menu

• Analog Input Cal.
This key is used to modify the input reference levels for each analog input of the group in steps of 0.1 dB. These adjustments define the reference points for analog PPM and SPL scales. The default setting of +6 dBu analog input reference guarantees the correct analog scale reference as defined in various standards. Please note that this adjustment has no direct relation in dBu for analog scales other than DIN type. All other scales are internally referenced and will be offset, if this value is changed. The option "All track x" (where "x" is the first channel of the selected channel mode) will make all other channel's reference levels follow the value selected for the first one.

Options:

0 to +10 dBu in steps of 0.1 dB

Default value:

+6.0 dBu

• dBu / 0 dBFS
This key is used to set the reference level for analog loudness measurements. This value defines the analog input level corresponding to internal digital full scale (0 dBFS). If measuring loudness for analog signal sources, it is important to set this parameter correctly in order to use the right reference for all loudness values.

Options:

+14.0 dBu to +24.0 dBu in steps of 0.5 dB

Default value:

15.0 dBu
