Menu Locked Menu

This menu is used to enter your pin for unlocking the menu. If you cannot remember your pin, you can purchase an Unlock licence to unlock the unit.

Use the numeric keys to enter your four-digit pin for unlocking the menu access. When the fourth digit has been entered, the pin will automatically be checked and, if correctly entered, the menu will be unlocked immediately.

If you cannot remember your pin for unlocking the menu, you can purchase an Unlock licence to get access to the menu.

  

Please proceed as following to acquire and to use an Unlock licence:

1.

Insert an USB flash drive to one of the USB ports on the unit’s rear panel.

2.

Touch the "Order unlock licence" key in the "Password loss" section.

3.

Touch the "order" key on the Licences menu page ("SW20020: Menu Unlock").

4.

Touch the "Export Requests" key. The TouchMonitor will establish a folder structure on the USB flash drive. In the subfolder /rtw/licence, an encrypted licence request file will be stored. This file is named in the form "nnn_nnn.lrf" depending on the individual serial number of the TouchMonitor hardware unit.

5.

On the next menu page, the successful export of the Licence request file will be confirmed. Touch the Done key.

Please send the request file saved on the USB flash drive to your sales representative.

After purchasing the Unlock licence, the requested licence file will be sent back to you. This file will only be valid for the individual unit the request file was created on! The licence file will have the format "nnn_nnn.lf". It should be stored in the same "licence" directory on the USB flash drive.

  

Please note: The USB flash drive shall always be correctly unmounted. Not until then remove it from your computer! Disconnecting without unmounting may damage the copied file!

8.

Insert the USB flash drive with the licence file to one of the TouchMonitor´s USB slots. If you are not on the Menu Locked menu page any more, touch the Menu key in normal operation mode. The Menu Locked menu page will be displayed.

9.

Touch the Unlock with licence key in the Password loss section. As soon as the Unlock licence file will be recognized on the USB flash drive, the menu will be unlocked.

10.

Repeat steps 8. and 9. each time you want to unlock the menu of your unit.
  

Please note:
The Unlock licence file will only be valid for the individual unit the request file was created on.
