System General Menu

This menu page is used to define several global hardware system settings that are independent of the loaded preset. For this reason, settings made in this menu are not altered by loading a new preset.

  

• Startup Preset
This parameter is used to define the preset loaded automatically after power on. With the option "last" set, the TouchMonitor will load the preset used before last power down.

• Display Brightness
This parameter is used to define the screen brightness.

Options:

  

10% - 100% in steps of 1%

• Touch Function
This parameter is used to enable or disable the touch function of the screen. With the touch function switched to "off", a USB mouse will be needed to control the unit.

Please note:
Before activating this function please be aware of the fact that you will not be able to deactivate it or access any Control Bar functions without connecting a USB mouse.

  

• Control Bar Display
This parameter is used to enable or disable the permanent display of the Control Bar at the bottom of the screen. When switched to "temporary", the Control Bar will only be shown temporarily after the screen has been touched. When switched to "touch off", the Control Bar will not be available in normal touch screen use. Instead, the Control Bar only shows up after a USB mouse connected to the device is moved.

Before activating the "touch off" option of this function please be aware of the fact that you will not be able to deactivate it or access any Control Bar functions without connecting a USB mouse.

  

• Language
This parameter is used to change the system and help menu language of the TouchMonitor.

• Additional Infos
After selecting the Additional Infos key, a sub menu with further options is opened to define, if and how group title, loudness standard info, units or size of decimal digits should be displayed on the screen.

  

• Menu Lock
This function is used to activate a lock code for protecting the menu from unauthorized parameter edits.

  

• Identification for Logging
This option is only available for units with activated Logging Data Server licence (SW20014). After selecting the Identification for Logging, a sub menu with further options is opened to define the identification for the access of the LQL - Loudness Quality Logger PC software via network.
