This menu is used to activate or deactivate DHCP mode and to set the system TCP/IP network address using the fields IP address, netmask, gateway, and nameserver. The TCP/IP interface is used for system communication with external units and for generating a screenshot. The settings in this menu are independent of the loaded presets so that they are not altered by loading a new preset.

Please proceed as following to generate a screenshot using the IP address:
1. |
Connect your TouchMonitor to your network. |
2. |
Find the TouchMonitor's IP address in the Network section of the System/Network menu. |
3. |
Open an internet browser on your PC. |
|
Please note: Asure that TouchMonitor and PC are connected to the same network! |
4. |
Enter "http://<IP address>/screenshot" into the command line of the internet browser. Instead of "<IP address>" use the IP address of your TouchMonitor. |
5. |
Press the Enter key. After a few seconds the current display of the TouchMonitor appears as screenshot on the surface of the internet browser. |
6. |
Click the screenshot with the right mouse key. Depending on the browser used click the "Save image as ..." or "Save graphic as ..." or a similar option. |
7. |
Enter a new name and store the screenshot into a folder of your choice. |
|
Please note: If you want to generate several screenshots, it is necessary to change the file name. Otherwise the previous stored screenshot will be overwritten! |
8. |
Keep the internet browser with the screenshot site opened, if you want to generate other screenshots of TouchMonitor's display. Then press the F5 key of the PC keyboard at the right point. |
9. |
The display of the internet browser will be refreshed and shows the new screenshot. Follow steps 6 and 7 to store it. |
